TAB Trackside is a horse racing evolved sports broadcast network of New Zealand. They have implemented a radio station and broadcasts on a total of 15 FM radio and 17 AM radio frequencies. This Kiwi radio station offers a full coverage of various types of thoroughbred horse racing, greyhound racing, and harness horse racing in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, and other countries.

Coming to the history of the “TAB Trackside Radio”, the radio station has been continuing its journey since 1978. In New Zealand, there was always a need and demand for launching a dedicated racing radio network; initially, the station was widely regarded as Radio Pacific. Over the years, it changed its names to bSport and LiveSport. In this context, here’s a brief description of their past history and early background.
Radio Pacific (a racing network) commenced in 1978 in Auckland. This network combined news, sports talkback, news talkback, & live racing commentaries. Next, Radio Pacific listed itself on the NZ Stock Exchange. During that time, Totalisator Agency Board was their primary shareholder. Over the course of years, there was a period of ownership changes in its overall journey; Since 13th April 2015, the station has been owned by “NZ Racing Board” under the name of TAB Trackside.
